Some Word About me

about me

With over a decade of experience in the publishing industry, Dee Lopez is a passionate literary agent dedicated to helping authors break through barriers and reach the right readership. As a proud member of the Association of American Literary Agents (AALA, formerly AAR) and a licensed literary agent with the Society of Authors (SOA), Dee has represented a wide range of voices—from debut novelists to seasoned storytellers.

Having worked closely with traditional publishers such as Berkley Publishing, Holt, and Waterstones, Dee specializes in bringing underrepresented stories to the forefront. Her mission is simple: to champion authors with a strong voice, a powerful story, and the courage to share it with the world.

When she’s not negotiating contracts or pitching to producers, Dee is helping authors navigate every step of the publishing journey—from manuscript preparation to book-to-film adaptation.
